Notify of Exceeded Stocking Lengths

Use Stocking Lengths or product lengths in Formulas tab BCE to check (either by Quick Check, or another method) to limit users from having a product in the material list longer than a maximum stock length.

When I was in the retail segment, I had different lengths of products based on their SKU. We purchased AJS20 in 48' lengths. I think our BCI I-Joists were 60'. And in BCI90s, we stocked some standard lengths (i.e. 24’ and 28’), but not 48' or 60'. We also had some wide width beam products in garage door width lengths only. Due to all of these lengths being the exception, we would run into a material list created by our designers with products longer than stock, but not ridiculously long.

I also know for lumber, long length solid sawn products are sometimes based on widths - i.e. 24’ 2x12, but not 2x4.
