Create Flush Segment Without Hangers

I would like to have the option to create a line segment in a flush condition without hangers being automatically generated for intersecting generated members.  This will be useful in multi-family when there is a double party wall with rim board on each stud wall.  It will give a more accurate joist length and visual representation for perpendicular members that intersect with these segments, especially for rim widths 3-1/2" or greater.
